    Looking at vintage steel cabinets, am I making a good decision?

    Dave it looks to me to be two separate sets of base cabinets and tops with sinks.  The U shaped with the white countertop and then the green countertop one that looks to be one straight base cabinet.  Both together would give you plenty of cabinet space.  The corner units look to be nice to hold...

    Cleaning Products You Miss.....

    Energine That stuff was great for oil spots on things and also getting our ball point ink.  Mom used it on our dry cleaning stuff befoe going to the do it your self dry cleaners.

    Got my first vintage home item..........

    That Singer is like the one my grandmother had Brian.  She went from a Treadle to this.  She had a button hole attachment you put a cam in that size of the button and it would make the eight size hole.  I can hear it going clack clack clack.

    Favourite York City Department Stores

    Lived in New Orleans in the 70's and 80's and miss Krauss LTD., Masion  Blanche, DH Holmes, Godchauxs and the big downtown Sears.  All gone now.  Krauss had the great lunch counter, Masion Blanche and HOmes had the lunch counters and greay dining rooms too.

    Magic Chef gas Double Wall Oven

    Our first house we had in 1973 had Magic Chef gas builtin and it was vented so I would say yes vent.  The vent went straight up and was double wall type and vented out the roof.  Could bake all day an the house did not heat like with others.
