    Early microwave weight question

How much weight would you guess a 1960 Tappan electronic oven (microwave) and a 1965 Ratheon Radarange would be? I'm moving into a new house and was going to get heavy duty shelving, in an ideal world I'd like them on the same shelf to make a chronological display. Thanks!

When did Tappan start making electric ranges, dishwashers, and refrigerators? I see online they started in 1881 with cast iron stoves. Was gas started about then too or were they just coal/wood? Thanks so much.

    Handle kdi-55

Does anyone know how to take off a handle off a kdi-55? I want to fix up the top. The first section of butcher block separated and I removed the bolts, hit with the hammer, but it won't budge. Is there someway the handle comes off? Are the ends threaded in? Is it glued in? Thanks so much.
