    Reason washing machine.... update

It seems that the Reason washing machine project has not been abandoned.... Now it's dubbed the 'greenest' washing machine - still no 'visible' porthole, though. What do you think? http://https//www.kickstarter.com/projects/1045993408/reason-washing-machine-in-a-class-of-its-own

Load-dependent wash time adjustments on the way out?

Now that most washing machines brands feature load-dependent wash time adjustment, even in low-end models, Miele seems to have decided to go back to 'fixed wash times' irrespective of the weight of the laundry. V Zug never went the 'wash time adjustment' route, and I always thought that was a...

    Cool down Miele Minimum Iron?

Are you aware if the cool down on Miele Minimum Iron 40°C no longer default? I've run two loads of cotton (about 2 kg) in my Miele W 5985 and in neither case was a cool down carried out, only drain, one spin burst and straight into first rinse.

    Automatic/Automatic Plus programme - Miele

Hi I'm a bit puzzled by the Miele Automatic (now called Automatic Plus - anybody aware of differences with the previous version?) programme. I washed a set of fitted sheets the other day (100% cotton) and surprise surprise the machine selected the 'minimum iron' tumble rhythm, cool down and spin...

    VZug Adora SQL: 'Night' option

What happens when you select the 'Night' option on the Adora SQL (similar to 'Eco' option on the new 'Ecogenius' Bosch washers), apart from increase in the length of the wash programme? By how much does the temperature decrease (e.g 60 > 40)? thanks

    VZUG Adora SLQ - impressions

One quick post from a long-standing lurker... A bit of feedback about the VZug Adora SLQ, which I've owned since May 2009. Pros: - the Steam function (for de-wrinkling shirts, sheets etc) actually works! - flexibility: you can go for a 95° wash plus easy care function, add the steam...

    Miele wash rhythms

I have a Miele WT 2670 washer dryer - fantastic machine... I have a question about wash rhythms. According to the programme sequence information in my instruction book (and the ones for e.g. W1511/1512, W4144/4146) there are only four wash rhythms: Normal (for Cottons, Express, Minimum Iron...

    95° degree wash

I am aware this issue has been raised several times in the past, but I'm still none too sure what kind of garments I should wash (if any at all) at 95 degrees. What about 75? I've got this option in my MIELE WT2670 washer dryer but I haven't used it so far andrea

    automatic programmes in dishwashers

Do you think that the 'automatic' programme(s) in dishwashers actually work/are worth using? I have a G1832 Miele and am very pleased with it but if I am not mistaken the sensor wash programme seems to use up more electricity/water than the standard 55/intensive 65 programmes Andrea
