So i just bought a house and it has this water heater, gas 40 gallon, i'm guessing from the early to mid 70s still works! I am thinking about replacing it soon though because of it's age, although all the new tanks are garbage compared to this.

So i recently bought a 1951 brick bungalow and this was left by the previous owner, date on manual says 1981, looking to sell if anybody is interested, ( partner wanted a new LG) turned on the coldest setting and 2 hours it reached temp (bet a modern fridge couldn't do that!)

So some of you may remember i bought the new 5.0 cubic feet capacity he top load washer about 8 months ago, i was concerned about rinsing and it started making noise from the suspension rod so i complained to ge and they sent me a brand new front load washer, well, looks like i am having issues...

Someone on here told me about bubble bandit, so i ordered some! It has 8.7 percent phosphate! Made in usa and claims it works so well you do not need rinse aid, anyone tried it? Thoughts? http://www.bubblebandit.com

Sad to report my ge he top load is having issues, first i dislike the rinse cycle, it goes into a low speed agitation for the rinse cycle, on a large load or comforters items hardly move, now just yesterday the suspension rod started squeaking, cheap plastic bushings, if i move them with my hand...

does anybody have the new GE HE top load washer? if so how do you like it? i really haven't heard anybody talk about them on here much, (the newer 5.0 cu ft machine) really nice control panel, if so maybe somebody could take a video and post it on youtube.

was reading consumer reports the other day and am wondering why they rate most model GE front loaders just "good" for gentleness on clothes while the samsung top load is rated "very good" how can a front loader be rough on clothes? i would think the samsung TL would be rough on clothes.... i...
