Attached is a pic of my soon to be (in long distance transit as I type this) 3 belt Fuchsware 5.5 kg Multispeed washer. It has been in use up until recently, the elderly lady ( bless her heart) whom it belonged to has since...
Here are some pics of modern machines which are permanently plumbed in our laundry/garage.
Must admit these machines have surpassed all my expectations and proven me so very wrong in that I considered them nothing but junk from when they first arrived. Predicted they would only last a...
This machine is in storage and so I cannot make a clip of it in action, but I did manage a few pics.
It works like nobody's business and with only one motor to drive the wash agitator and spin can both simultaneously.
The spinner never stops and operates with the wash side on, I'm sure that its...

After reading a thread in which Laundress explained (in such riveting detail) washing a pile of cotton sheets using a Hoovermatic!
After reading the thread I suddenly desired a twin tub of my own. pity i cant find a Hoovermatic too:(
following is my 3rd one this week!
Picked this workhorse up for R75.00!
Gave her a service and a good clean. I'm afraid her fascia was so worn that i decided to rather scrub it all of. rather that than have it flake away bit by bit.
I don't remember seeing any other Hitachi twin tubs on any of the threads. any members who...

The Maxx WFL 1200 needed new brushes so used the older WFB 2005 to fix the problem. I do like the older machine more as it matches my Bosch Dishwasher, but it seemed to race through wash times! Even when started at B it would wash its way through to D within 10 min.??
Where these machines made...
