I grabbed this single serve, grind and brew coffee maker at the restore recently for nine dollars. These things normally sell for around $150 in the stores so nothing to lose really it was half price day on small appliances. Bought some Colombian beans and it really did a good job very fast brewing.

I just received an exhaust hose insulation "blanket" off Amazon to fit onto my ancient portable a/c and it sure made a difference in how well it cools the room. I've always known about this inherent problem with these things but never bothered because it doesn't get used all that often...
