Frigidaire Spray Tube dishwasher pump seal...

Last night, the seal that I replaced on my 1963 Frigidaire dishwasher started to leak again. I'd like to find a replacement seal/impeller kit for it but so far, I haven't found any. I was already looking for one replacement since I had to part out another working dishwasher to fix mine not that...

I finally found a picture of something I heard about...

I wish it was of a better quality but it's a beginning. Now, I'd like to get one of those sets! Not too many were built!

    KDS-18 fire

One of my friends got a scary surprise with his KItchen Aid dishwasher. He went to look at what smelled bad and it started throwing fire through a hole in the door just over my friend's head while my he was bent to smell underneath! It looks like the detergent dispenser or the wire that goes to...

An ad for 1976 Belanger appliances

I'm wondering who made the washers and dryers. I can't think of a dryer with a door like that with hinges on the wrong side (I mean on the Maytag side!). The washer lid looks a bit like those on Norge/Wards washers. Any ideas? You might need to scroll up a bit to see the machines...

Old ad showing John Inglis and Frigidaire plants in Scarborough Ontario

I just saw this Trane ad in a magazine that shows both Frigidaire and Inglis factories across the street. I also noticed that the SKF factory was very close. It's probably why some Canadian Frigidaire Rollermatic washers had SKF bearings in them. Now, almost nothing of this not-so-distant past...

Look at those Canadian Moffat machines from 1973!

On page 11 of the PDF File in the following link. I'd like to find one of those dishwashers! I hope the link works! http://numerique.banq.qc.ca/patrimoine/details/52327/2737279?docsearchtext=lave%20vaisselle%20moffat

Anybody knows what's the brand of that wall oven?

It looks like it has a glass control panel similar to those of Frigidaire Touch-N-Cook appliances.

    post 1968 RCA wringer

It's the first time I see one like this. I have some RCA service manuals but I don't recall seeing a wringer in them. https://www.kijiji.ca/v-oeuvre-d-art/thetford-mines/ancienne-laveuse-rca/1296821339?enableSearchNavigationFlag=true

I still need to find one part but I’m getting close to have a matching pair!

The washer used to be a 1968 Custom Deluxe WCDATN with a dented white cabinet but I switched the control panel with one from a 1968 Canadian Rapidry washer. I fixed and repainted the white cabinet to match my Sunny Yellow Canadian 1967 Imperial Filtrator dryer. Now I need to find a control panel...

    An unusual Americana...

Or is that a Canadiana?! It looks like a Talisman from the round badge on the left of the oven door... http://www.kijiji.ca/v-stove-oven-range/windsor-area-on/vintage-stove-and-ovens-combination/1267752880?utm_source=alerts&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=email_alerts

    Canadian Centennial edition dryer

Thanks to Paul and another appliance collector he knows, I'm now the owner of something unusual. And thanks to my other friend Steve who gave it to me for my 40th birthday! The 1967 Canadian models had red accents on their control panels, this Imperial dryer was the top-of-the line dryer here...

Kenmore dryer in a thrift store

Yesterday, I saw this dryer with Paul. A Canadian Kenmore dryer with a nice control panel. It's a good thing there was no matching washer around as we had no way to bring it with us!

Finally another blender from my wishlist found!

After passing one of these with a broken dial, I finally found an Oster 411 Electro Blender that has a nice dial. It's a good thing I waited for a better one, this one was closer to me and $10 cheaper too! I just replaced the bulb for the dial. It's pretty big and tall for a blender that's just...

Turquoisedude's new wall of washers, dryers and dishwashers in Ogden QC!

Yesterday, I went with Roger to make a short visit to Paul in Ogden.    He's working on his garage to allow more storage and to get insulation upstairs.    Here's a preview!   Downstairs:

I just got an unusual top-loading dishwasher!

I was quite happy to find this! Last year before the slant top models. It's still in my truck, I'll post more when I get back home!
