I would like to know, if after paying about an average of $1,200.00 on a modern front loader as opposed to $450.00 for a top loading Whirlpool/Kenmore/Maytag, if over a period of time, the front loader will result in a large energy/water savings that will exceed the extra cost in purchase. Ross
