    POD: 2/6/2018

My grandparents had a set of these. I remember spending hours watching the agitator do its thing. I'm not a collector, per se, but those machines are probably responsible for my lifelong interest in all things electrical and mechanical. Not sure how well they would do as a daily driver, but...

I need to satisfy my curiosity on this machine. In the fine print, it says it also comes in a suds saver model. To anyone who has one of these machines or has additional info on it, how is the suds saver activated? It looks like there's no additional room for a switch on the left side of the...

    P.O.D. - 6/22/14

We used to have one of those machines in the early 60's. As I recall, my dad wasn't too fond of it as he was always having to fiddle with it, usually with the water level switch in the lid. Somewhere in a box of goodies, I still have a set of mercury switches from it with the Maytag logo...

    KitchenAid model info

Greetings and pre Happy Holidays! Negotiating a deal with a locally owned KitchenAid Superba. I asked the owner to supply a model number, but I don't know where to tell them to look. All they said was it's a Superba Monterey 21. Is this a Hobart produced unit? Where would the official...
