Have now discovered that the brushes are on their way out in the motor that would explain it not spinning properly, Paul that machine I see in 1 of your pictures is exactly the same as mine series 90 awb989 1200 electronic

My washer seems to do only bursts of the 1200 spin at the end of cotton cycle is this a design feature or fault any advice would be most helpful
