The last few dishwashers I have had over the years seem to wash better on short or light wash cycle with high temp wash selected. With exclusion of a reverse rack. I've found this to be true even over the pots and pans cycle. anyone else notice this?

I recently acquired a Maytag A108 and it works great but, the basket sits about 1/2 inch off on one side which is no big deal but with a full load, I believe this is making the load spin in a slight oval, and not spin as smoothly as this machine could. I read somewhere (cant remember where)...
