My only question to you guys, is the online videos do not show you applying sealer to the bottom (outside) of the tub where the bearing goes thru. Rather they have you clean it with alcohol and stick it in. The sealer only goes on the interior of the tub. Why would you not want to put it on...

I was told the new hub/lip seal kit for the speed queens do not come with the sealer tube anymore. It is $25 locally, and just a tad cheaper online. Is there anything more affordable that will work?
