This was the last hurrah for the solid tub speed queen washers. The next models that were made after this had the perforated tubs.

A sad time for Frigidaire washers and dryers. The washers were a somewhat cheapened version of WhiteWestinghouse machines that wash adequately, but spun below par. The dryers were the poorest made machines I have EVER seen before or since and had horrible service records.
