    Whirlpool Help

Hi All, Well after all my vacuum posts, I'm finally posting a washer question. I've got this Whirlpool washer, new in 1993, and its starting to dance across the floor in spin cycle. The first time I thought it was a load balance problem, but it does it all the time now. I'm suspecting a spring...

    Frigidaire Imperial stove

Hi All, My wife and I were out thrifting today and came across a Frigidaire Imperial stove. It didn't look like the Imperials I'm used to seeing with the controls way up above the ovens. It was lower, almost like a GE Liberator from the 50's. White in color. The burner controls had pointers to...

    My Other Collection

Besides Vacuums, I collect Vintage Christmas Lights. Now is the time of year to display them. I've posted my pics on the off topic section of Vacuumland. Rather than go thru the time uploading the pics again, here is the link to the thread on Vacuumland. Thanks for looking and I hope you enjoy...

    Hoover Gods Were Smiling

I think these would have to qualify as the "finds of the year". I've been looking for an 1130 Dial A Matic for awhile now and it has been eluding me until now. It was at a Thrift store that I just happen to be going by and stopped in at the last minute. Got some great vacs that way. Another of...

    One Man's Junk....

Is another's treasure. A friend of ours works for the DPW in a neighboring town. Twice a year the town has a large item trash pickup. It costs the town to get rid of everything they collect, so they are more than willing to save me ALL the vacuums they pick up. Here is day one's pickup. Joe

    A visitor from North Canton

Its been a great weekend having Tom (myhooverco) here. We’ve been thrifting, yard sailing, rummage and estate sailing. Even bought a couple of Kirby trade-ins. We hit both Rochester and Buffalo, NY and just about everything in between. Its been a great time fixing, restoring and running vacuums...

    Finally Posting

I've been a long time lurker, thanks to Tom in N. Canton, but I finally have my firewall figured out so I can post. I'm in Western NY State and have been into collecting vacuums for a few years now. Counting my parts machines, I have over 600 various types of vacuums on the second floor of my...
