    1948 Bendix Gyromatic - Back in Action

    Restoration completed . John & I & Todd & Jeff Got this beauty in October 2023 from the original owner.  We had to haul it out of  a very tight basement with a right turn at the top! It all 4 of us to get it out ! You can see it was pretty neglected but I was in love !

    Next project after the Bendix is... The Savage Washer-Dryer     For those collectors already out there, I found the current belt number for repair - 1926-1945 Savage took a Gates 2310 but that has been super-seeded by a 4L310. On order.

    Having developed my own detergent; Rosalie's Zero Suds; and always recommended hot or warm wash I was gobsmacked to try New Tide Professional. The claim is professional stains gone in 1 wash in COLD. Now normally I would brush this off, but I know P&G have been in the lab these last two years...
