Update, leak fixed I replaced all the parts that came in the kit (impeller and lower seal) and now it works! the original shims worked even though I didn't figure out how to check the clearances.

update to leak I replaced the O-ring and now the leak is much less. But it is still leaking. The leak starts a bit later in the cycle. I'm wondering if it is the gasket around the motor mounting plate now? Can this be replaced? Or any tips for getting it really firmly reseated?
