Dryer heat however will not spin. Was working prior appeared to have a "flat" spot when tumbling. Washer basket is rusted through. Needs replace. Needs new pump installed (I have) Please message me. Looking for someone local. Thanks

wow so great to see I can use a newer tub. Are there any other parts to concider replacing when I replace the tub. I am going to attempt to do this myself. I truly love this washer I also have the matching dryer. Cant wait to get her working again. Yes it does have the mini basket

Hello Group Im looking for a tub for my V12 GE (1960s) Washer. The one in there now had water left in it and it rusted out pretty bad :( Anyone have one for sale?????

~ thanks so much for all the great advice. It is not the drain hose that is still attached.When I look @ the back of the machine the water dumps right out of the bottom of the tub. Is there a seal there? How to I remove the aditator on this machine? I am going to look on ebay for the service...

I found this machine posted on this site last year with a matching dryer from Washington State. I have been trying to figure out what is wrong with it. Water just dumps out of the bottom of the washer. The experior of the washer is very nice and the lights work..Old owner left water in the tub...

Got a early 1960s GE v-12 dryer and it gets so hot it burnt a sock to the drum. Can someone tell me what is wrong? Is there a secret solution to get whats left of the burnt sock off the drum its hard as a rock! THANKS!!!! ~Sherry
