Hmmmm..... fiddled with the buttons again this morning and pushed and held them all for three seconds. The old girl fired right up and behaved like a lady. Finished the cycle,dishes were spotless and no flashing lights. Gremlins?

Just finished a cycle and now the rinse and hold button is on steady. Wont respond to the finger crossing. I would put money into this machine to fix it. Got it second hand due to a kitchen reno. Is like new inside. Darn.

No timer just push buttons. It is working fine right now but had to do the finger across the buttons to get it to start.

I have a Kenmore Ultra wash from 95 or 98? Model number 665.1578 4300. This is the second time this has happened. It will go thru the cycle shut off and then the pots and pans light lights up. Pushing cancel does nothing. Pushing the cycle it wont go. I have unplugged it over night and same...

I had 5 guests in my trailer last Thanksgiving. Good dinner but with the prep dishes,pots,dishes and wine glasses it took over 2 hours to boil water,wash,rinse and dry. Never again. Will be bringinging the dishes home to put in the dishwasher.

I remember that washer and dryer on the back cover of the Sears Christmas catalouge. I thought it was so cool looking with the colored cycles for both washer and dryer. Wasn't expecting that agitator.

Always wondered how people washed dark clothes in a wringer if they used bleach. Never thought of putting it in the rinse. Makes a lot of sense now. I think using a hot tub with strangers more disgusting than reusing wash water.

Unless the sheets were stored in a damp,smelly basement why do you need to wash clean sheets on a heavy duty cycle with two kinds of detergent? Would a toss in the dryer to fluff or hang them outside not be enuff?

Would Miss Daisy ever use the spindryer herself or just supervised?
