Cool-Down sequence I think 1964 (the year of that pair) was the debut year of that said cool-down sequence. It changed in 1976 with the partial drain and pause.

'Suaves' cycle From the BD era, the 'SUAVES' (Permanent Press) cycle ran with low agitation and high spin with no cool-down.

What other brands were damage-prone from switching speeds? Also, if I wanted to switch from high to low speed for permanent press during the pause between agitation and spin, would that be a problem too? That's my speed preference for permament press (high agitation/low spin). 

Agitation Strokes per Minute Which agitation speed was slower, Gentle or Delicate? And how many strokes per minute was each of those four speeds?

I'd sure like to take a closer look at those Blackstone Washer consoles and lid instructions shown in the POD.

Agitation Speed Correct me if I'm wrong, but might those high agitation speeds play a role in those air pockets?  When it comes to washing blankets, I wash them in delicate due to their bulkiness. For sheets and pillowcases, I prefer the permanent press cycle.
