    No wonder they didn't use an upper wash arm ... It would seem that machine doesn't need any help getting the top rack clean with only its lower arm, Those pumps were beasts.

    Not knowing a thing about US major appliances but..... Dalangdon have you not answered your own question? You say the clock etc does not function and you found a blown fuse which others have said controls the clock etc could replacing said fuse have an impact on the clock and outlets working?

    Askolover In order for a pacemaker to become affected by an induction hob don't they have to be very close to it as in 6 inches away? Sure I read that somewhere. If thats the case you would have to iie on the stovetop to have any affect and if you do that you have to ask why????

    Fan noise Does it make the same noise with NO filters in place? And could it be possible that a spacer has worn away that would stop the drum rubbing?

    Had a Speed Queen washer That was either 13amp or 20amp it also had 2 heaters in it you just took one off the relay switch, I also had a Miele little giant exactly the same. The good thing about it was if a heating element blew you could just unplug it and use the other one..
