I just brought a Service quartz off a farmer in Darby for £10. He said it just pops the earth trip when you switch it on. Although if you hold your finger on the door open button it dose open as it pops the trip. I have not investigated further other then taking the top and back off yet. This...

Don't use WD40 Using WD40 is a not good. Some of the older Hot points ( my top loader) Uses nylon cogs inside and the WD40 dose bad things to them. The engineer who came to fix it said to use silicone lubricant instead.

Carl Sagan once said " There is no such thing as a dumb question !" With that in mind, when I drag the wash out of the washer and dump it in the dryer, should I shake it all out first or just dump it in?
