Yay! Found the filter! Thanks everyone, I did find the filter and it was in the back, a big, round plastic piece with a bunch of vent holes and two bigger finger holes, pulled it out and there was the filter screen and it was clogged, so I am very glad I didn't run it until I found and cleaned...

Thanks for the replies! I will post a picture too, and Vintagekitchen, I did see the plastic in the back and wondered if that might be it but was a little afraid to "tug" on it for fear of breaking something. Do I just "pull" and it will come out or might there be a latch of some sort? Thanks...

I just bought a very cute vintage Frigette brand 110v avocado green apartment dryer and it says to clean the lint trap before using and I can't find it!!! Does anyone know anything about this brand? I have searched the internet and found nothing. Thanks so much!
