I recently started researching new TL washers. Had a Maytag Bravos for 1 week and returned it. I am currently waiting on a new 542. There are several issues discussed several threads down. I don't think you will be disappointed from what I have read. Nelson

I am replacing a Frigidaire FL that has odor. Tired of trying to clean the unit. Tried a Maytag Bravos 700 model for 5 days. Put a folded shirt in load of clothes in the Bravos, when the cycle was done it was still folded. Lowes picked it up yesterday. Nelson

I'm sure the 412 would be adequate but for another $40 I can get the 542. Is it worth the extra cycles? Nelson
