I ordered this transmission while in the process of trying to repair my 1-18 years ago. I had to go through a friend in the business to order it as it seems I couldn't do it as a "civilian". Anyway, it turned out not to be the transmission that was needed, so it's been sitting in it's box here...

No problem...I had to go over there anyway this afternoon to show some people other stuff I'm clearing out of that building. Snakes said I can't come back before Monday, however. Seems these Frigidaire snakes are a bit "uppity".

Here's the tags from a matched 1-18 set I just listed in the for sale section. I bought these new in late '77. These are brown.

On the window, I have no idea. That's the way it's been since the day I bought them at (I think) Sears.

I bought this set new in late '77. They performed reliably for about 20 years until the washer started spinning slow. I liked it so much that I looked into having it fixed or fixing it myself and ran into dead ends on repair people and parts. I couldn't bear to part with them as I had hoped...

Hi John.... Could you possibly make two copies of that 1-18 manual while you're at it? I'd love to get one so I can figure out what the heck is wrong with my 1-18! Just let me know what expenses are involved... Thanks Guy
