On our Miele, we use cottons 60 for towels with powder detergent. For everything else we use cottons 40 with liquid. Water plus gets used on large loads. If I'm washing my work uniform for the next day, I'll use the Express, it's the only time it gets used. Mum occasionally uses the handwash...
