. Impossible for me to imagine the company making a laundry appliance worth having.

. You may be able to get the motor rebuilt. I follow a lot of car repair guys on YouTube and they get around non-existent and/or impossibly expensive parts by finding shops that can still rebuild almost any starter, clutch, pump, etc.

. Electric dryers run on 240v in America, although they use a differ plug. Pics are the older 3 prong version, there is also now a four prong that is used, see last pic.
