switch I am surprised to see the switch having overheated and melted in that fashion. What happened. Mine just goes to high and low but nothing in between. The switch you show with the spade connectors does work it seems. I wonder if robert shaw makes a replacement for the one with the spade...

How would one check a frigidaire three wire burner from a 1950 range? do you disconnect the wires running to the terminals and check for resistance? which color of the terminals do you check?
