A burner (element) stays on high regardless of switch setting. Is it a bad switch or is there a temperature probe that needs cleaning? Are switches generic or where can I get an OEM part.

I was referred here because of a problem I have with a Chambers electric range. The rear burner cannot be regulated. It's always on high. Does the switch need replacement? Normally it would click off and on. Perhaps there's a thermal probe that needs cleaning. If it's a switch where can I get...
