    Yes you are right--it does say built in Montreal Quebec! Go figure us unruly Canadians not following GE guidelines! Mine does look similar to yours. Thanks for solving my confusion!

    Hi everyone! I am trying to figure out the year that my old faithful was built. I read from this thread http://www.automaticwasher.org/cgi-bin/TD/TD-VIEWTHREAD.cgi?40894 that I use the second letter of the serial no to determine year by consulting the GE tables. I found the tables here...
