More problems More problems with the Maytag A410. Yesterday it would not agitate in the wash cycle. The timer just clicked. When I advanced the timer to the spin and rinse cycle, it worked fine. This makes me think it is not the motor. Any ideas from the experts?

Models The A512 has the sliding infinite water lever selector, along with the A612 and A712, but the A512 is more commonly available used. Dig A Pony, can you tell me the differences between the 512, 612, and 712? Is one better than another? Thanks!

Problem PS Also during the wash cycle the motor changes and makes an awful noise. I got a rebuilt motor last year. My repairman thought it might be a good idea to upgrade to a slightly newer machine.

Problem Hi Malcolm, I have spent a fair amount on it this last year. Now during the wash cycle it stops and I hear clicking. If I shut it off and wait a while it will resume washing. It doesn't do this every time. Thanks.
