    Restor’ my Thor

A six minute long video of everything physically working in this machine, all I really did was anything that moved. I put a little bit of sewing machine oil, again, I didn’t put anything in the transmission though I probably should at least check to see if there is anything in the transmission...

    Restor’ my Thor

Great news I’ve replaced the original wiring between the wall plug the switch and the motor and it’s all working, I just need to make sure that the motor is going the right direction and it’s changing direction where it needs to if it does. (not sure how it works) but I’ll try to put a belt on...

    Restor’ my Thor

Great news guys, it’s all freed up with a bit of time and turning and I think I might have to replace the wiring between the switch and the motor but the shift selector is now working. The transmission is turning and the switch probably needs a bit of a clean out. Honestly I would never thought...

    Maytag Washer/Dryer

TOL means top of Line, BOL means bottom of Line referring to like if it’s the top of the range or a basic model that’s found in the bottom

    I just brought THIS

Hey guys, yesterday afternoon I had brought this beauty behemoth for 300 and it’ll mean that I’ll be able to have a machine that can probably do large blankets doonas (comforters) etc. Instead of running down to the laundromat. The machine is three phase but. It does have a half horsepower Motor...

    Thor Automagic transmission locked up

Alright, I’ll try taking the Pump off when I get home today and consider considering this thing still has its water seal and tub bumper ring according to the parts manual so I’m kind of a bit unsure if I can just unbolt the tub and undo the tub to Pump hose Also, I’m a little curious. Does...

    Thor Automagic transmission locked up

Hey guys, so I recently got my new Thor automagic home and the transmission seems a bit locked up so do you guys have an idea of what I can do to try and get it to free up? I do have two of them so I’ll have a better look at both of them on Wednesday as I’ll be heading out of town tomorrow. The...

Through the AutoMagic of buying two Thors

So we didn’t stop, but I now have it home on the deck, and I’ll grab some more photos of the inside tomorrow morning, the motor spins freely but the transmission is locked up and the motor needs a new cord, it does come with a seal though and it is still flexible

Okay let me know how it goes having a look if you have a spare, and I think maybe we should get the same person who did those 118 ring things for their machines to probably do a reproduction of that seal Generally, what are the things I should probably look out for? And Should I try to secure...

Through the AutoMagic of buying two Thors

Thank you, I know for a fact that I do actually have a front panel from my other thor that got damaged during transit so I should have a reasonable supply of spare parts excluding the seal that sits and joins up to the spin tube/agitator shaft and is absolutely necessary to have that seal in...

Through the AutoMagic of buying two Thors

Yeah, that’s something I think I’ll definitely do, as I know from the first one that there was a crack in something mechanical with the first one that I brought probably because I did not remove the drum and agitator do you know if there’s a way that I could stabilise the agitator shaft and spin...

Through the AutoMagic of buying two Thors

I’ll probably be able to get one of these working, Hey guys, so on Sunday I’m gonna be picking up another Thor Automagic so I’ll be pretty happy about that as of the one that I currently have got damaged in transit, I’m gonna make sure to probably bring some blankets and stuff like that to put...

    Sunbeam Radiant Control Toaster

LOL, this reminds me“and the magic of having one of them” by the way I found that with this if you cut a bagel in half like perfectly enough it’ll fit in without getting jammed or anything like that, that’s also something I found when I sliced my own bread. There’s a pretty good thickness where...

    Dryer times,

It would be nice if Westinghouse came out with a 20 amp version for 240 V countries, as honestly when I got that Simpson dryer the previous dryer before it was a GE and it used to dry a load in like 45 minutes, so I thought that this one would actually take 30 minutes to dry a 5 kg load, I’m...

    Dryer times,

Hey guys, after doing a bunch of laundry these past two days I’ve discovered that regardless if I’m using My 10 amp Westinghouse dryer or my 20 amp Simpson dryer it seems to take the same amount of time for a 5 kg load that’s been spun out 1400 RPM And I’m not sure if it’s because of the design...
