    New Whirlpool washer line spotted

Maytag vs WP I reckon the new whirlpools will not be much different to their current lineup in terms of how they work, it will most likely be appearance changes, and not much beyond. The main omission in comparison to that Maytag will be the lack of a display.

    New Whirlpool washer line spotted

Other models' initial assumptions My guess is that the 5015 will be the "agitator" model of the 5010, similar to how the 4850's "agitator" variant is the 4855. As for the 5057, that will be the 4.7/4.8 Cu ft variant of the weird agitator/impeller hybrid model, which I have seen teased on...

    New Whirlpool washer line spotted

While scouring Google, I managed to find what appears to be Whirlpool's next iteration of their mid-range VMW. The capacity has been dropped by 0.1 Cu Ft, and the control panel has been quite significantly changed by the looks. Unfortunately, the flat impeller that I am known to despise still...

What brand new Top Loader Washer do you recommend?

Depends on budget. If the budget is tight, I second the recommendation for the Roper/Amana 4516, a decent machine for a cheap price. If you're willing to spend, however, the Speed Queen TC5 is the washer to get! Nothing else made today is built like a Speed Queen

LG FL Washer "Power Failure (pF)" / New Machine Options

LG again? I think LG is still a good option!

    LG WT7305CV Agitator Washer

I REALLY like what I'm seeing. That is really good. I think LG now has the best large capacity top load washer available.

    LG WT7305CV Agitator Washer

I like what I see. I'm excited to see more from this machine, it looks pretty promising.

    Speed Queen 2018 TR7 impressions

As a former 2018 Speed Queen doubter... I am very impressed with those results. my first experience with one was at a vacation rental property. it was a first generation TR5 and it managed to take out a fairly sizeable mud stain. I was very impressed. Sure, i refer the classic, but I'd be...

    Variable Speed Drain Pumps?

Yes! The WashTower units utilize variable speed drain and recirculation pumps to my knowledge. They're brand new models so I wouldn't see any reason why they wouldn't, seeing as LG started using DC pumps in 2018 I think it was.

    Variable Speed Drain Pumps?

Bosch too! Can't edit so I'll post another reply: I've also heard that Bosch/Siemens washers with the 4D-Wash system also utilize variable speed drain/recirculation pumps. According to a friend of mine, it ramps up if it detects a lot of water being extracted in spin. Otherwise, it runs at a...

    Variable Speed Drain Pumps?

LG All of LG's newer models use variable speed drain pumps, as well as variable speed recirculation pumps on models with TurboWash. Some models include (in USA) Wm3400 Wm3500 Wm3600 Wm3700 Wm3900(TurboWash) Wm4000(TurboWash) Wm4200(TurboWash) Wm4500(TurboWash)

    New GE washer alert!

Euro washers not reaching temp I can attest to this, I have a fair few contacts with European washer community members, and one has a Samsung that achieved 63 on a 90 cycle, and a Hoover that achieved 58, also on a 90 cycle. That said, one collector had a modern Bosch that reached 85 on a 90...

    New GE washer alert!

Not dual action You are correct that this machine doesn't use the dual action agitator. It uses the so called "heavy duty agitator" that the GTW330 uses. to be fair it does seem like a decent agitator.

    New GE washer alert!

Upon scouring a local dealer's website, I came across this new GE washer which appears to be a competitior to the Maytag MVWP575 commercial grade machine. It claims it has "upgraded parts" and has a more "commercial-ish" appearance. Anyone know anything about this...

LG is finally making "agitator" top loaders!

Controls Anyone curious about the controls can see a closer look here... There appears to be a deep fill option, which appears to be set up like GE where you press it once to add a few gallons, and you hold for a maximum fill. Also interesting is the "Inverter Direct Drive" font has changed.

    Tabletop Clothes Dryer, Anyone?

you might want to watch this video involving this dryer. Even if it did what it promised, it would still be way too small to be practical in my humble opinion.[this post was last edited: 5/21/2019-22:11]

    New Speed Queen TC5

I highly doubt the water temperatures are dumbed down, with the exception of the normal Eco cycle, where the temps are almost certainly dumbed down... They still have to comply to the regulations somehow...
