Update! So the timer once again failed and I am trying to find another “WPL-63315”. Checked eBay but came up short, I could attempt repair on my other timer but wouldn’t really know where to begin tbh. Let me know if anyone has any suggestions! Thx

Thanks to you guys, my D2000 is working again! Unfortunately the clutch is making a tapping sound which subsides once it’s up to speed. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Would anyone know where I could source a Whirlpool LA7400xm timer? (1984 d2000 series w/ spin drain). I don’t get high speed, and low speed only hums. High speed only works with a full tub of water (when the pressure switch is satisfied)

I use Tide Powder detergent. ive noticed that the small load size does not fill up enough to properly wash away the soap. Ive never had build up putting liquid down the center. whenever i use cold, ill find powder chunks at the bottom of the basket, so i almost never use cold water.

Does the detergent go in the basket, or down the center of the agitator? it seems doing the ladder makes a slimy mess at the bottom of it, so I no longer do that. the agitator is a Teal Shark fin type.

A friend of mine wants to know if it is possible to make a full size belt drive spin as fast as the portables do, and if so, how could it be done? if anyone knows feel free to write. - Nathaniel S.

This is a cycle I filmed, when it pumps out you can hear the pitch of the motor drop significantly as if it is struggling.

My 1989 Maytag LA211 (Orbital) Seems really bogged down when it Pumps out water, once it is empty the motor pitch returns to normal. I have a feeling its to do with the pump belt or something along those line, but I'm not sure. What are your thoughts?
