    Speed Queen agitator preference

I never ended up deciding! I have it in storage unfortunately until I get a new agitator. I have been using my old Kenmore for the time being, that does a good job too. I am hoping to revive this post in hopes that those who have tried the solid vane agitator can give me insight on which they...

    Speed Queen agitator preference

Thanks David, yes I am a fan of the wavy style too! I'll share a photo of the comparisons I was talking about. One is shorter (disregard the additional height from the fabric dispenser cap on the taller one) but doesn't have the flex vanes, they're attached to the base. Someone on here has...

    Speed Queen agitator preference

I was browsing an old thread from 2010 (Thread Number: 30970) about using the solid vane agitator (part #33174) for the speed queen as opposed to using the flex vane agitator (part #36507). I'm curious, which have you preferred to use?! I know the solid vane is shorter but my flex vane agitator...

    Speed Queen AWNE82SP113TW01 agitator replacement

My AWNE82SP113TW01 Speed Queen needs a new agitator. The bottom part that has 4 "fins", one of them broke off. I have the part number to get a new paddle/flex vane agitator (36507). It's widely available at great prices as well so no problems there. I was just wondering if there happen to be any...

Replacing 110.23022101 Kenmore inner tub with SS

I have recently acquired a Kenmore washer and dryer. I've taken apart the washer, and the inner tub I've noticed is quite rusty. I know I could replace with a new white porcelain tub, but I would love to find one that is stainless steel instead. I've seen this mentioned a few times in these...

    If you had to choose...

Well I was thinking about getting a Miele but I was made aware that if the time ever came that I would need service for it, I would need to know how far I am from a Miele factory servicer or a Miele partner with an MDU laptop (MDU=Miele Diagnostic Unit). And apparently there's only one in my...

    If you had to choose...

Yes as much as I like to think I am thrifty and practical, I did say NEW because I cannot repair washing machines. Unfortunately I have no experience whatsoever. So as much as I would like to find the best old school washing machines that still kick butt to this day, with proper maintenance and...

    If you had to choose...

The Speed Queen FL has me very convinced! And nothing better than having a matching Speed Queen FL and TL and dryer as well! The only thing I wish it had was an internal water heater, but my water gets close to 140F and have been getting clean just fine without scorching temps. While the tub...

    If you had to choose...

Primarily big blankets and our king bed duvet/cover/sheets. But I also like that front loaders wash more delicately for when you need to wash certain items more gently. So overall we need a tub that's a bit bigger than our Speed Queen.

Thanks! Do the Miele's hold up well? Even the new ones? Do you have a specific model that you like the most?

    If you had to choose...

What front load washing machine would you choose that was available right now but only as brand new? I've heard great things from many different brands such as Miele, Speed Queen, Bosch, Electrolux, and even LG. I already have a Speed Queen top loader that I love and works great. I want to buy...
