On what basis would y'all rule out another Dyson? [Passing on my sister's inquiry]

My sister is an upscale jewelry designer/wholesaler. She needs a cleaner for the studio/shipping area. There is danger of encountering stray earring findings, glass and ceramic beeds, etc. She uses a Dyson in her home - and likes it. But wanted some comment regarding damage that might be caused...

Source of Water While sealing from the inside may be of some help, don't forget about trying to deal with the source. You have indicated gutter work, etc. Perhaps some fill, or some grading is in order. Perhaps making a swale or french drain can encourage drainage away.

What goes wrong with fairly new Home Depot esque $200-$250 humidifiers. I presume the compressor has stopped in ours (fan runs). Is there an obvious debug?
