I always put the pod in the main wash dispenser and squirt a little liquid gel or ppwder detergent on the door. Although there's noofficial prewash dispenseer, there seems to be a small indention on the detergent dispenser on my Bosch once I close the deterrget dispenser door.

Once I got a front loader with an onboard heater there was no going back to an antique top loader far superior results dealing with various stains and sanitation without lifting a finger just throw everything in and select the cycle proper and get on with life
