Rick, Thanks for the useful information. To answer your questions: Yes the motor is vented. I'm not sure how uncomfortable it got. I just remember that I didn't want to keep my hand on it. At the time, I was a little nonplussed because I was afraid it was overheating. I'll have to try it again...
