    Help I have this exact? same agitator in pieces after removing it from my Maytag wringer... the part number on mine is 15849. Which models do this agitator come from? I might try the epoxy trick too, but looking for another one just in case.

    Its Alive... Well, one had a motor, and the agitator...tinkered with that one... found out motor windings are toast. bought replacement motor, it works... definitely need to get a service manual to tear into it & maintain it. Change out the gear oil, etc... make some adjustments? Can anyone...

    the second one is J108561 T (sorry I left off the "T" at the end) the identified 1965 one, would be an E2L? model... there is NOT a drain pump, but rather gravity drain. I also do not have the "foot pedal" safety switch... how would I identify if it had one, OR needs one?
