What are your thoughts on Asko washing machines

The parent company is Hisense, but the design itself is still Asko. Designed in Sweden still I believe, but built in Slovenia.

What are your thoughts on Asko washing machines

Those deals aren’t bad atm, they are launching the new range soon so the deals on the outgoing models are brilliant. For less than the cost of a mid range Miele you’ve got yourself a really good set there for the money.

New Miele DW does not regenerate

Great to hear you’re getting good results - I have noticed that this Miele gets stuff much cleaner and shinier than the Siemens IQ700 we had previously (although that was a lemon from the start, so not really a truly fair comparison). Interesting ref the Auto cycle - generally more times than...

What are your thoughts on Asko washing machines

They do have recirculation - it enters at the top of the tub rather than through the seal, not dissimilar to the original Zanussi Jetsystem machines. Asko Prowash

GE Appliances/Haier Moving FL Washer Manufacturing to Appliance Park, US

The latest Haier and Hisense laundry ranges sold here in Europe seem to be very well made - they still have split tubs, have 4 suspension legs rather than 2 or 3, and most have a 5 year warranty. Some TOL Haier machines have 10 years parts and labour warranty. Much like Kia, Dacia and Skoda...

Would you have a 5 year old Hisense fridge repaired?

I’ve always found Hisense to be decent for the money. Not appliance related, but we have a sub £300 Hisense TV in our bedroom which has a better picture and has been more reliable than our main LG in the living room which was 3 times the price.

what happens on the Machine Care program on my Bosch Serie 8 PowerControl dishwasher?

I don’t think you can beat citric acid for descaling the kettle, coffee machine or the washing machine/dishwasher. It’s great at bringing the shine back on stainless steel sinks too.

what happens on the Machine Care program on my Bosch Serie 8 PowerControl dishwasher?

All European dishwashers have a cycle that reaches at least 65°C, and heat their own water. I wonder if the Lidl product in the US is the same one sold here designed to be used with our dishwashers, not bearing in mind some of the American dishwashers that aren’t capable of this.

what happens on the Machine Care program on my Bosch Serie 8 PowerControl dishwasher?

It didn’t on ours, though that was the least of our problems with that machine. Definitely got a Friday afternoon machine there, which is why we eventually got the Miele as a replacement through our retailer after getting to know our local BSH engineer very well indeed 😂. I never used the...

what happens on the Machine Care program on my Bosch Serie 8 PowerControl dishwasher?

It’s a two step programme - the first wash uses the dishwasher cleaner, and then the dispenser opens on the second wash so you can dispense descaler (citric acid etc). The Siemens IQ700 dishwasher I had before was more particular with the cleaning reminders which wouldn’t disappear unless you...

Why Has Whirlpool Never Sold a BOL Power Clean Module?

Not sarcastic/facetious at all. Yes, they do. It will use a third more water and higher pressure in the wash to achieve the same results, with the trade off of using slightly more energy to heat the water, and ever so slightly more noise with the high pressure. Soils are still held in suspension...

Why Has Whirlpool Never Sold a BOL Power Clean Module?

If you can’t see how your comment was racist and could come across as offensive, there’s nothing more I can say. Which is all caused by global warming… but that is perhaps a topic which should be discussed on the paid forums without digressing too much from here.

Why Has Whirlpool Never Sold a BOL Power Clean Module?

Whatever your opinion on appliances is and where they’re made, there’s absolutely no need to describe them in a racist manner. And yes, without opening a can of worms, as much as some deny it we do need to be kinder to the planet whether we like it or not.

    New ride

Looks great Louis! I wish you all the luck with it. I love the colourway too! My parents have recently retired their 2004 Citroen C3. I had to eat humble pie as I told her not to get it and buy German when she bought it years ago, and it turned out to be the most reliable car she has ever had...

Why Has Whirlpool Never Sold a BOL Power Clean Module?

Again - people don’t pre rinse here, it’s of the exception rather than the norm if they do and that’s born out of misinformation. People stack as they go and then turn on the machine when it’s full. The only pre rinsing that happens in our house is from the dog who tries to stick her nose in...

Why Has Whirlpool Never Sold a BOL Power Clean Module?

That is quite frankly disgusting, and not reflective of an average dishwasher with a filter. Not even the very neglected dishwasher of my family member was that bad when I used it. If you choose to believe filter dishwashers don’t work, or simply prefer one with a macerator that’s absolutely...

Why Has Whirlpool Never Sold a BOL Power Clean Module?

Taking 30 seconds every few months to clean a filter under a running tap is hardly back breaking.

Why Has Whirlpool Never Sold a BOL Power Clean Module?

But manual clean filters can handle this. We’ve covered this before and you struggled to understand then. I’ve deciphered that perhaps it is more your opinion rather than fact that they don’t work, and that you prefer a non filter machine (which is fine), but facts prove otherwise that they do...

Why Has Whirlpool Never Sold a BOL Power Clean Module?

There must be some pretty poorly designed dishwashers in the States if that is indeed the case. Of course it’s always pertinent to take any online reviews/rants with a pinch of salt, as more often than not it’s due to incorrect use - and also bear in mind the phenomena that people don’t...
