DD's are very stingy with spray rinses unless you get an Ultra Rinse model. I've also noticed with Whirlpool/Kenmore washers is that the more BOL a washer is, the more stingy it's with rinsing. That even goes for belt drives. I've seen some higher end belt drives do up to 7 spray rinse pulses...

40 years. My dad still wears quite a few button up shirts on a regular basis that have been cleaned in an A490 for almost 40 years. Before that, they were washed in a Coppertone Kenmore belt drive washer. I still wear Nike t-shirts bought in 1992 in Jr high that have been washed over 2000 times...

Not sure how it's on your side of the pond but here in the US, Audi has a miserable reputation for reliability. They're also incredibly hard to work on making repairs very expensive as well as parts being expensive. Mercedes is close behind Audi.

I'm sure he was referring to amplifiers, not cassette/8-track players and lower end open reel decks. You'll find very few collectors for early 80's to modern amps unless they're really high end stuff but 70's amps have been very popular since at least the late 1990's. Higher end 70's turntables...
