    I felt every one of those 225 lb when moving this. Once I get a spare machine running for backup, I'd like to refurbish this. Definitely need new drain hoses to make it reliable for the future.

    My 25 year old Frigidaire FWT647 quit draining so I pulled out my mother's 1983 Maytag LA710. Pulled the front cover off; it could use some cleaning but it runs just fine.

    In my part of the world, summer humidity is high and an uninsulated steel shed is not good for storing steel parts.

    Maytag LA710 washer, manufacture date July 1983. Any significance to LA710 versus A710? This has been stored since 2010. I would consider selling to someone who would pick up in Peachtree City, Georgia.
