Re: Chirs, does this mean:

The "1-18" Pulsator is way beyond "If It Ain't Broke, Don't Fix It" now?

If I'm correct, sorry to hear about that. I hope that someone will come to your Rescue and have a replacement available for you, "Good Luck" Chris.

Peace, Happy "1-18" Laundry Days later, Steve

ha ha

oh its broke alright the top ring broke off and the lower fin is cracked and had big chips so its to sad to try and fix so like i said im beggin for one.

christfr,

When I got my 1-18, it had a broken cone as well. BUT, when I found another one, I kept the original. It is not too bad. There are several places that have gouges, looks like where the lint filter came out and washed with the clothes. I used it like that for a while until I got another. You are welcome to it if you'd like, but email me under seperate cover.

Steve

to kind

sound like the one i have here..the top ring by the cap broke off but no biggie and the second plastic ring on the cone is all chipped and cracked so i think till i find a good one im gonna trim off that second ring and give that a try..cant hurt, but way thanks for the offer

na

nope not yet but i was able to cut off the broken bits and sand the edges down some and epoxy the cracks so maybe that will hold..it looks sort of crapy but it might work.. id still love to find a better one

Chris, I have one that has a small chip in it. You could smooth it out and use it until you find a better one. I can take a pic of it tonight if you're interested. Rich

Here's A Pic

Chris,

Again, it's not perfect, but if it works for you, email me your postal mailing address and it's yours.

Frigidaire 1-19 Heaven

Does anyone in/from the greater NY metropolitain area remember the GM building on 59th street and Fifth? There was an automobile display on the ground floor and in the mezzanine...
FRIGIDAIRE HEAVEN!!! The entire mezzanine floor was set up with dazzling displays of GM Frigidaire kitchens and laundries. I'll never forget the year that they introduced the Poppy color--as Linda Wheeler would say,
" OH

MY

GAWD!!!!!!!!!"

Michael Moore was right, we should string those bastards up by their thumbs and beat them with WCI agitators.

Chris,

I'll be glad to send it to you, but I don't want anything for it. Just send me your mailing address and I'll ship it out on Saturday.

Rich
