1934 Fridgaire to be saved

Hello all,

Hope that everyone is enjoying their summers thus far. Last weekend Evan and I went to the local flea market and normally there are not any large white goods but this time was different. Sitting alongside a few soda coolers there was a rather well loved Fridge that was just looking for a good home. So after haggling with the guy it followed us home. Sadly I do not have many pictures yet just the one at the market. More to come soon.

The hope is to restore it and use it in our guest house or in our soon to be built basement wet bar.

It needs to be rewired and a good about of cleaning.

Just wanted to share this amazing piece of GM history.

Congratulations! That will be quite a conservation peace. Hopefully the condensor works or needs little work. Old fridges cool like nothing else if they work well.

Nice save! I have one that's a year or 2 newer. Works, but needs a control.
