1940s (?) Bendix Washer - $50 - Marion IL

According to the seller it is not functional. Not sure what it would take, but may be interesting to someone here that would be wanting to put in the effort. Seller is asking $50 and its located in Marion Illinois.

This Bendix FL i just like the one that my babysitter had in the 50’s on her back porch. All it needs is a crust of blue Cheer powder around the black rubber opening of the detergent dispenser. I wonder if it still works?
