Interesting refrigerator - I'd guess this is an early version of the 'all-refrigerator' type.

Is it missing the freezer compartment assembly? It looks like somebody removed it.

That's the bottom compartment/drawer. Self-defrosting refrigerator, manual defrost freezer. Probably closer to mid-decade than the stove.
