That is a very Baroque range--lots of bulges and doodads. Of course, the surface unit switches have the lighted color wheels to show the heat setting in the lens above each dial and you don't have to worry about C7 bulbs for them because Westinghouse used the fluorescent light so whenever you switched on a surface unit, the whole range top was bathed in bright light. I guess when you were really cooking, it would look a little bit like Christmas. It is super clean and has been well cared for; easily worth the reasonable price.

I see what appears to be two ovens, but looks like only one knob that could be used for an oven. How does the 2nd one have a control?

I recall that they made this virtually identical stove for two years, 56-57, with some automatic burner differences but cosmetically the same. So I think Sandy is right that the manufacturers went to the clean ('sheer' in the case of Frigidaire) look in 57, I think this was a hold over for Westinghouse. And I don't see them often, they may not have sold well because they would have looked dated next to the new look from other models.

I know that Westinghouse was still making their 1957 30" ranges on the same basic frame as my 1953 model, as I have a '57 Better Homes & Gardens magazine with an ad for one (in Lemon Yellow). They restyled for the 1958 model year, which I think they used till they were sold to WCI.
