1954 Blackstone Ad, Including Mahogany Table

May 2, 1954, newspaper ad for Blackstone washer. Promotional deal to get a mahogany fold-down table. Both Blackstones and the furniture were manufactured in Jamestown, New York.

Very interesting. The days of promotional gifts are long gone. Remember how savings and loans used to periodically have a lobby full of promotional gifts ranging from toasters to console TVs? And give every customer a poinsettia at Xmas?
