This was the fridge I grew up with....
....except ours was the two-door model. It was huge. I've found a few photos of this model, but NEVER the two-door. The handles broke all the time, too many kids slapping at them. I can recall that it made noise when it started up, but my memory isn't sensitive enough to recall uniqueness.
