1954 Frigidaire washer and dryer in Sherwood Green

Wow! Just happened upon this set on an Indianapolis used furniture and appliance store's Facebook page. They are asking $999 for the set and claim they still work! They appear to be in perfect condition on the outside. No interior shots provided.

The post is from May 22. If you scroll down through posts on their Facebook, you will come to it. It does not indicate whether they are still available.

I had always thought Frigidaire introduced color appliances in their 1955 lineup, but this appears to indicate it may have been late in the 1954 line.

Anyway, gorgeous set!

A quick peep through FB page didn't turn up said Frigidaire set. Only scrolled but so far down through offerings however.

Unless mistaken that set vanished into the ether courtesy of those ever efficient but silent hobbyists.
