I would think the value and decision really depends on what you are looking for. Are you planning to use it as a daily driver, or as a back up/show piece? And assuming that you have already gone through the gas vs. electric, wall oven and cooktop vs. free standing, and sizes for your space, then a lot comes to the parts availability of various models and the look/color. Although many others on here are more knowledgeable than me about parts availability and repair, I expect that a major company such as Westinghouse wouldn't be as challenging as a smaller company such as Crosley or Gibson; however, I also assume that a GE/Hotpoint would probably be the easiest to find parts for. So then it comes to the look and color. These Westinghouse wall ovens (as well as GE/Hotpoint) are out there, I see them fairly regularly. But some colors are harder to find. And while $300 seems high, a lot depends on both the condition (at this price, I would want it to be very very good and fully functioning condition) and location. As they say, the three most important considerations often are location, location, location. You may find a nice one in great condition for $75-100, but if it's not nearby, you may not get a chance to pre-inspect it and you may have to pay for shipping or gas to get it. On the other hand, if this one is not fully functioning or needs restoration work, the purchase price is just the opener and unless you can do the work yourself, you may be money ahead finding one that does not require reconditioning.
